Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!

If you should know anything about me, know that I am ridiculously obsessed with the 4th of July! My family goes all out with a huge pool party, BBQ and fireworks. I just love how communities really come together on the 4th with parades, picnics and shows. Last year I was doing an internship in Oklahoma and was upset that I couldn't be home for the 4th, but I did get to go to the community picnic in my town and I was so pleasantly surprised. There is definitely something about festivities on the 4th that is so universal wherever you are. What I am most thankful for are the men and women who sacrifice A LOT for our independence. While the festivities on the 4th provide a great time to bond with our family and the community (as well as give us full stomachs!), it is important that we keep everyday the 4th of July and remember how blessed we are to be so free. As I always suggest, take the time to write to a soldier today (see below for a great opportunity) or say a prayer for the troops. God Bless America! Enjoy today everyone!

2. Follow their simple instructions, but send the card to this address (it got cut off):
